Food for People, Inc. The Food Bank of Humboldt County

Food for People is a non-profit, 501 (c)(3) organization. Our mission is:

1. To provide emergency and supplementary food to those in need. 2. To improve food access through expanded participation in gleaning and gardening projects 3. To conduct advocacy and outreach for existing federal food programs and other activities 4. To involve the poor in self-sufficiency programs 5. To encourage self-sufficiency in the community as a whole
