DC Guitars Not Guns

A non-profit organization that inspires foster care & at risk youth with the power of music. We recruit volunteers to teach guitar classes to DC youth. We provide classes at various times all over the city. Students can earn the guitar by participating in the class, learning a few basic chords, and memorizing the names of the guitar parts. All donations are used to buy guitars and equipment for students. The number of our locations and students are expanding rapidly. Please consider volunteering your time (about 1 hour per week) to teach or assist in teaching a class.
