  • About Us

The Soldiers Project of Pennsylvania is a private, nonprofit and independent group that provides free counseling and support to military service members who have served or expect to serve in Iraq and/or Afghanistan, as well as their families and loved ones. Our group of volunteers are licensed mental health professionals including psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, marriage and family therapists and registered nurses. Each member is required to complete trainings specific to veteran's issues and included Military Culture, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, and Traumatic Brain Injury, among others. Treatment is conducted in the private offices of clinicians and is strictly confidential. We see active duty as well as members of activated Reserve and Guard units. In addition, our services are available to family members and loved ones of service memebers. We provide help to service members and families struggling with issues related to the overwhelming trauma of war including the cycle from predepoloyment to homecoming and re-entry to civilian life.
