  • About Us

    The Master of Public Health degree offers two concentrations: Epidemiology and Health Behavior & Promotion. The MPH-Epidemiology program focuses on understanding the distribution and determinants of disease. In addition to foundational public health learning, coursework includes analytical epidemiology, applied epidemiology, computer packages in health research, and advanced biostatistics. The MPH Health Behavior & Promotion concentration focuses on understanding health behavior, health inequities, and planning and implementing interventions to improve population health. In addition to foundational public health learning, coursework includes chronic disease prevention, cultural competency, and health program evaluation.     The Master of Health Administration program trains future leaders in healthcare. Our healthcare system needs leaders who are visionaries and positive change agents that inspire and empower others to do their best. The MHA program incorporates professional, effective leadership skills within the foundations of financial and strategic planning, organizational management, and quality initiatives. Students graduate with the knowledge and skills to make an impact in healthcare today. Coursework includes economics, finance, operations, quality improvement, and strategic planning.
