  • About Us

    Peoples College of Law (PCL) has been training "peoples lawyers" for 30 years now. The school was founded by La Raza National Lawyers Association, National Conference of Black Lawyers, the National Lawyers Guild, and the Asian Law Collective. The goal of the school is to provide a Juris Doctorate (JD) Degree to students who want to: 1) train as legal advocates for human rights (consumer, workers, womens and gay/transgender)and fight discrimination and abuse of power 2) to enable and empower those who have been historicaly denied access to legal resources and protections.

    PCL is a part time, evening program. We admit students who regardless of their varied political, spiritual, cultural or social backgrounds, have a demonstrated committment to progressive social cahnge. We invite the idealist community to participate in our school by 1) applying to our law school 2) donating funds 3) donating volunteer time.
