The Literacy Pirates

Literacy Pirates improves the reading, writing, confidence and perseverance of children who are falling behind in class, so they can achieve at school and beyond.

We work with children aged 9-12 whose teachers think they would benefit from some extra help. Our Young Pirates join us after-school, every week. We run sessions in fantastical spaces in Hackney, Haringey and online.

We believe in the exceptional potential of every child – and the power of positivity and fun to unlock that potential.
