The New Jersey Head Start Association provides training, advocacy, coordination, and professional development for all of New Jersey's Head Start grantees. Serving over 35 Head Start and community action programs, the NJHSA strives to enhance the quality and efficiency of child development services and advocate on the state and federal levels for critical policy changes benefiting the Head Start community. The NJHSA conducts research, organizes training conferences, and pilots special projects that improve communication between Head Start parents, staff, and administrators, and that achieve an integrated statewide community supporting the economic, social, and educational empowerment of New Jersey's lowest-income families.
