The designation of funds to various research facilities is cancer specific and based on the foundation's annual evaluation of the latest research.

    A child in this country has a 1 in 285 chance of being diagnosed with cancer before they grow up.

    Two classrooms full of children are diagnosed every school day in the US, and seven of them die.
