    The mission of the Guatemalan Student Support Group is to partner with impoverished Guatemalan communities to provide greater educational opportunities for their children and young adults.

    About Us

    Established in 2002, GSSG has awarded scholarships to over one hundred Guatemalan students to attend high school and/or college. We work primarily with indigenous children and young adults living in mountain villages in the Alta Verapaz district of Guatemala. This district is one of the poorest in Guatemala.
