About Us

Nearly 40% of us will have a cancer diagnosis.

CancerRoadTrip is a documentary film series about 7 travelers exploring world in a quest for health, experiencing the twists and turns, the ups and downs, the fear and the hope of life after a cancer diagnosis.

Events may shape us, but our stories define us. This project captures the stories of 7 people impacted by cancer (including caregivers) and explores the issues they face. Each film is repurposed for continuing medical education and part of the proceeds go to cancer research. Film and outtakes are streamed via the web.

Post cancer treatment is one of the most difficult phases of the cancer experience. It can last years. Our current health care system does not–and cannot–address it. CancerRoadTrip does.

The New Mexico Film Foundation is our fiscal sponsor.
