Imagine a child not being able to play the same sports as their sibling or imagine a child not able to play at all. Sunshine State Superkids has the perfect opportunity to get these children involved like the rest of the kids in the world. Here is your chance to get involved.
Sunshine State Superkids is a FREE program for children in the central Florida area, From Tampa to Melbourne. SSS does soap box derby race events with a twist. They have 2 seat cars, where one side is a typical children driver from 7-18 years old. The other side is child with disabilities. SSS supplies all the cars, equipment and food for the day. The program is a fun free day of racing for the children.
SSS works with all of the groups that work with different disabilities. The drivers come from different areas: Foster Group Homes, Homeless Shelters, Elementary Schools and siblings.
