  • Mission

The mission of The Arc-Solano is to promote the greatest personal growth, community understanding, and full participation of people with developmental disabilities and their families through support, education, and advocacy.

    About Us

The Arc-Solano, founded in 1953, currently has four programs that serve people with developmental disabilities. Our ACT Program is an on-site day program for people with both a mental health diagnosis and a developmental disability. Our Tailored Day Program is a customized, community-based day program that helps clients who are intersted in pursuing higher education, employment, and/or volunteer work. For people who live outside their natal home or wish to be less dependent, our Tranisitonal Services program teaches them the needed skills to live independently. Our fourth program, Art@Arc, taps into our clients' creativity and gives them a chance to freely express themselves.
