FIVCO Area Development District

Our group is a quazi-govermental agency that provides staff support for local governing bodies of Boyd, Carter, Elliott, Greenup and Lawrence Counties in KY. We provide support in the following areas: Aging programs, Social And Human Services, Community Services, Natural Resources, Transportation, and Economic Development. Our funding comes from ARC, EDA, the state of KY, and other governmental agencies. My job title is Economic Development Planner. I help cities and county governments obtain grants, I write planning studies, or help with any other programs to help our service area advance its economic potential.
