About Us

The KCCoC is a 501c(3) non-profit organization that was established in 2005 by the Korean American community in the greater Chicago area. It has raised funds from private individuals, local businesses, other nonprofit organizations, and government entities to purchase a campus-style facility in Wheeling, Illinois. The Korean Cultural Center has a museum, an art gallery, a library, an assembly hall, a community center, a multi-purpose room, and many classrooms. Through diverse educational programs, sponsored events, and cultural activities at the new facility, KCCoC seeks to promote Korea's rich 5,000-year history as well as the uniquely vibrant Korean-American experience.
The mission of KCCoC is to promote and organize Korean cultural, educational, arts, and social events for the public. It aims to establish a forum to celebrate and improve the understanding of Korean culture and heritage.
