About Us
Big Brothers Big SIsters is the nation's premier mentoring organization, and our vision is that all children achieve success in life. Our mission is to provide children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally supported one to one mentoring relationships that change their lives for the better, forever.
Our affiliate is located in downtown Aurora, IL and serves southern Kane and Kendall counties. The program matches at-risk children with a caring, responsible adult mentor. The goal is building a friendship that has a positive impact on the life of a child. Mentors are carefully screened, training, and matched to children in the program, and parents/guardians, children, and volunteers are supported throughout the life of a match by professional staff members.
