Lifehouse

Since 1954, Lifehouse has opened the doors of opportunity to developmentally disabled individuals in Marin and Sonoma counties through life-skills training, community integration, advocacy, referrals and information about resources. We couldn't be more proud of the progress of the people we serve, the satisfaction it has brought them and their families, and the many beneficial effects of their integration into our communities.

At Lifehouse, we have developed a very progressive self-help skills training model. Our goal is to help each person become more independent and be productive members of the community. With the help of our staff, donors, volunteers and local communities, we strive to improve the quality of life for individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. Our individualized programs and services are provided in an atmosphere of respect, inspiration and purpose.

Today, we provide support, training, recreational opportunities and residential services to 300 clients living throughout Marin and Sonoma Counties.
