Youth L.E.A.D.

Youth L.E.A.D. (Youth Leading Environmental Activism through Democracy) is a food justice organization that trains and empowers disadvantaged youth as activists who create healthy, equitable, and environmentally sustainable schools and communities. Youth undergo the afterschool Activist Academy and then complete service learning projects to increase access to healthy foods in their communities.
