What is Night Lights?

Night Lights is a nonprofit organization that provides free respite care for families of children with special needs and their siblings, ages 1 month till their 13th birthday.

There are 7 Colorado Night Lights Locations:

• Arvada
• Broomfield
• Colorado Springs
• Grand Junction
• Littleton
• Parker
• SE Aurora (opening October 2026🎉)

Every child is thoughtfully paired 1:1 with a trained, background checked volunteer, ensuring they receive individualized attention, encouragement, and care throughout the evening.

To support children with medical needs, a registered nurse is present at every Night Lights event, providing an added layer of safety and peace of mind for families.

While parents enjoy a few hours to rest and recharge, children experience an evening filled with fun, friendship, and engaging activities, including:

• 🧩 Sensory activities
• 🏃 Gross motor play and games
• 🐾 Pet therapy
• 🎬 Movies and more!

Our goal is simple: to create a safe, welcoming environment where every child is celebrated, every family feels supported, and everyone has the opportunity to experience joy and belonging.
