  • About Us

Make Piece advocates for a living wage for workers and models business projects that deliver such wages, particularly to unemployed or low income women.

Our first such project involves training women in the Washington, DC area in jewelry-making, financial literacy, small business basics and life- skills. After graduating from the training program, our clients may continue making and marketing jewelry in our model business to deepen their skills, broaden their market, and gain management experience, while earning living wages within the collaborative business.
