Green Apple Day of Service

  • About Us

On September 29th, 2012, the Center for Green Schools at the U.S. Green Building Council will host the first annual Green Apple Day of Service. For one day, advocates from around the world, including students, teachers, parents and elected officials, as well as international green buidling councils, USGBC staff, chapters, member companies and more, will come together in support of healthy, sustainable schools by taking action in their communities. On September 29th, the goal is to organize thousands of events at schools all around the world to demonstrate how many people are in support of the movement for healthier, more sustainable schools! To get more information or to get involved you can contact Robert Morici at 202-552-1371 or e-mail him at rmorici@usgbc.org.
