MHA Supervised Visitation Program

  • Mission

The mission at Mental Health America of Dutchess County is to make the Hudson Valley a place where anyone can get access to the full spectrum of mental health and addiction services they need, without jumping through unnecessary hoops.

    About Us

The goals of the Supervised Visitation Program are

    1. Guide parents as they cope with their own feelings, respond to the unique needs of their children, and build on the strengths in each family.

    2. Supervised Visitation helps parents plan for meaningful visits in a natural and community-based environment whenever possible.

    3. Reduce the trauma that children experience from being separated from their families.

    4. Increase chances of reunification with their families.
