The primary focus of activities relate to issues like,UNDP's Millenium Development Goals like:Eradicate extreme poverty and hunger ,Achieve universal primary education,Promote Gender equality and Empower women ,Ensure Environmental Sustainability ,Sustainable Livelihoods, Good governance, Development and Poverty reduction – nationally and internationally Globalisation and Trade, and Human rights, Refugees, Peace and Conflict Management and Democracy,Gender and Conflict Transformation, Political Empowerment and Peace Building,Gender-based violence, and HIV/AIDS...,Develop decent and productive work for youth and Develop a Global Partnership for Development,in our local context .
The organisation is dedicated to :
+ enhance understanding of the world,promotion of mutual friendly diplomatic relations and deepening of economic and trade ties among the countries of the world and to enable people to work together towards peace and justice,in a variety of situations;through volunteering initiatives;
+ organise International/National Conferences,Workshops,Seminars, Forums, and Discussions on different subjects that stress the importance of a more global perspective;
+ undertake research and analysis of issues urgent importance;
+ organize dialogues among policy makers and outside experts,;
+ take up sponsored studies on multilateral institutions and their effectiveness,and on issues related to its broad objectives;
+ to promote, develop, and implement capability-building programs for individuals and organizations in the bureaucracy and other key sectors to accelerate national development efforts,such as organizing training for various client groups namely staff of NGOs, government departments, banks and financial institutions, and members of local people's institutions;
+ carry out its mission through the professional provision of training and consultancy services in human resource development, organization development, change management, productivity development and enhancement, policy research, systems development and installation (both manual and computer-based), project development and design and management;
+ to initiate different participatory training methods such as case-analysis, role plays, lecturettes, games and group discussions to help stimulate active involvement of participants;
+ to encourage support for strong Global Political Leadership through a number of educational outreach efforts, from seminars and special programmes to internships and conferences.
