    Two Historic Seminaries in Pennsylvania are merging to form one institution as of July 1, 2017, which will be called United Lutheran Seminary. The Seminaries serve the church to prepare leaders for public ministry. The Seminaries are affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, but admit students from various ecumenical denominations.
