    Sweetwater High School in National City, California, has a diverse student body, with approximately 88% of students identifying as Hispanic/Latino. Around 75% of students come from socioeconomically disadvantaged backgrounds, and a significant portion are first-generation Americans. Over 45% are English learners, with many students fluent in both Spanish and English. This diversity fosters a strong, culturally rich community.
