About Us

The Hudson Planning Group (“Hudson Planning”) is a non-profit consulting firm established in response to the homelessness crisis and AIDS epidemic confronting New York City in the 1980s. Our mission is to plan, develop and support innovative, community-based housing, health and human service programs for people in need. Through our work we empower and equip community-based organizations (“CBOs”) with limited resources to build, own and operate housing and community facilities serving New York's most marginalized citizens.

Hudson Planning has built a reputation for delivering a broad spectrum of innovative technical assistance and project management services to CBOs, including developing supportive housing and community health care facilities, designing health programs, securing funding and regulatory approval, and managing networks and consortia.
