  • Mission

Tiba Foundation partners with local communities to increase access to quality, compassionate healthcare in rural Kenya. We provide medical treatment, training, facilities and volunteers to create sustainable solutions that increase health and well-being.

    About Us

The Tiba Foundation partners with rural Kenyan healthcare & education programs, providing funding, technology, and technical support when requested, including program expertise, surgeons, doctors, nurses and researchers. Tiba’s primary partner is Matibabu Foundation Kenya (MFK), which with Tiba’s support, operates a full-service hospital with outpatient clinics, a Women’s and Children’s center, an in-patient ward, a College of Health Sciences and helps manage more than 100 Community Health Care Workers. Tiba Foundation also provides MFK with more than 40 expert volunteers annually to teach, train and serve in Kenya, as well as connections to American business and educational institutions for collaborative programs which enhance the quality of services and promote funding.
