InnovatePGH is a next-generation public-private partnership accelerating Pittsburgh’s status as a global innovation city. The partnership is powered by a coalition of civic leaders representing Allegheny County, the City of Pittsburgh, the University of Pittsburgh, Carnegie Mellon University, UPMC, the Allegheny Conference, and regional philanthropies.
InnovatePGH is fiscally sponsored by the Pittsburgh nonprofit, Avenu (a d.b.a. of StartUptown). Avenu partners to provide flexible work spaces, including the historic Paramount Film Exchange Building, in the Pittsburgh Innovation District. Avenu is committed to advancing the recommendations of the “Capturing the next economy” report (though InnovatePGH) and the EcoInnovation District Plan (as a member of the Uptown Task Force).
