Carson-Newman College Applied Social Justice Graduate Program

About Us

Provide mostly online, low-residency graduate training to persons called to serve in faith-based organizations, churches, and other social enterprises that work to eliminate poverty and its associated ills by addressing root problems and empowering people for democratic self-determination. Students complete a core curriculum exploring the theory and practice of social justice and the biblical basis for missions as social justice in nature; and select one of two track options: Christian Community Development or Social Entrepreneurship.
