  • About Us

Garrett Williamson was founded in 1912 after the death of our founder, Elizabeth Garrett, who left her 240 acre farm "for the support of poor children so each shall remain for a limited period during the spring, summer and fall months, and shall be succeeded by others in the same fashion." So Garrett's Way Child Care and Learning Center and Camp Garrett Summer Camp were born. Over 100 years later, we're still providing unique educational programs to children in the Philadelphia area, regardless of their financial means.
