About Us

The Gabriel Project of West Virginia is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization providing immediate and practical assistance to pregnant women and to families with infants and young children two years of age and under. The Gabriel Project provides tangible, compassionate assistance that helps parents give their children a healthy and safe start in life. We provide such items as cribs, car seats, diapers, formula, clothing and hygiene products at no or low cost to our clients. We also provide mothers with emotional support, answer questions about baby care, offer informational materials, and make referrals to other social service organizations. We work through an ecumenical network of churches and volunteers, yet we are independently organized and not part of any religious group in West Virginia. Our services are provided without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, disability, age or national origin.
