About Us
The Center on Wisconsin Strategy (COWS), is based at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. COWS is a research and policy center dedicated to promoting "high-road" - high-wage, low waste, worker-friendly, and publicly-accountable- economic development in Wisconsin, and to disseminating lessons from our experience here for wider application.
COWS' research and policy work ranges from documentation and analysis of economic trends to feasibility studies and design work on high-road alternatives to present economic programs and institutions.
