NOPE, Neighbors Defending Democracy

NOPE's mission is to defend democracy. We advocate through electoral politics and provide support for grassroots community groups in battleground states. Our goal is to help Democrats win the White House and build majorities in the House and Senate and in other key races crucial to protecting the vote, i.e., governors, secretaries of state, and attorneys general.  

We support key battleground state races by deploying volunteers. We also raise and direct funds to grassroots organizing groups working in under-represented communities of color. Our volunteers canvass, do phone banking, text banking, and write letters. We work to protect voting rights.

We are an all-volunteer organization. We have no bank account, no salaried employees. We vet organizations and candidates and share this information with our members.
