Seattle Audubon Society

  • Mission

Seattle Audubon leads a local community in appreciating, understanding, and protecting birds and their natural habitats. We envision a healthy environment in balance with nature, where people enjoy, respect, and care for the natural resources that sustain the community of life.

    About Us

Founded in 1916, Seattle Audubon is Washington's oldest natural history organization, and one of the state's most active. Much of our success is due to the strong environmental spirit of Seattle-area residents and to the hundreds of volunteers who annually contribute thousands of hours toward the mission and the activities of Seattle Audubon.

Our primary programs are Education, Conservation, Science, Community Engagement, and The Nature Shop.
