Arts Fundraising and Philanthropy Consortium

Arts Fundraising & Philanthropy is a team of leading arts organisations, sector fundraisers, coaches and practitioners, passionate about the arts and aware of the importance of developing the capacity and skill through which to generate new funds in an increasingly challenging funding environment.

In January 2013, Arts Council England awarded £2m to the newly created Arts Fundraising & Philanthropy programme through its Transforming Arts Fundraising commissioned grant, which supports activity that strengthens and professionalises arts sector fundraising across England.

Working in partnership with Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisations and across the wider arts sector Arts Fundraising & Philanthropy will deliver an England-wide programme of training, fellowships, coaching, action learning, co-mentoring and digital skills development to promote innovative and effective practice in arts fundraising. The programme will also develop a range of excellent resources, digital tools and support for the arts sector nationally and internationally.
