    Heroic Food is a non-profit start-up career training program for military veterans focusing on family-scale, sustainable farming and farm skills. Based on our farm just outside of Hudson, in Columbia County, New York, the program offers on-farm housing, paid apprenticeships, hands-on training, and short courses in multiple aspects of sustainable farming, farm planning and management, and green technology, in a supportive environment designed to help veterans meet their goals.
