The Beautiful Foundation, Inc.

The Beautiful Foundation and its mentoring program exist to provide effective role models and help girls develop socially, cognitively and emotionally. Our mentors help girls learn and demonstrate their leadership ability to promote a healthy body and self-image; identify and engage in positive relationships with peers and adults; identify life options and coping skills that will empower them mentally, physically and spiritually; develop short and long-term life goals; use appropriate etiquette and social skills; embrace team building approaches and display commitment to one another in group; and reduce participation in at-risk behaviors. Our afterschool and summer program mentors are proven leaders that instruct and mentor girls by providing a critical “Big Sister” environment with strong relationship support. We recruit a diverse group of young adult women presently in college and graduate school.
