1Day Sooner

Founded in April 2020, 1Day Sooner is an organization that advocates on behalf of COVID-19 challenge trial volunteers.

We envision a world where: Human challenge trial participants and other test subjects are given autonomy and agency within the experimental process; Scientists, manufacturers, and politicians immediately mobilize resources for COVID-19 human challenge trials; Medical ethicists establish guidelines for these trials that are informed by volunteers; and where the public is well-informed about these trials by the voices of volunteers as informed by our research and the best available evidence; and an effective COVID-19 vaccine is universally accessible to all and developed with the most collaborative, effective, and transparent research methods.
