About Us
Our mission is to encourage kindness in the world, especially in prisons and jails. We send free books and newsletters about interfaith spiritual practices such as meditation, yoga, and a lifestyle of radical kindness. Hundreds of people request our free materials each week, and we work hard to respond to each of them with compassion and a personal touch. Our Prison-Ashram Project has been operating since 1973 and currently has more than 35,000 on the active mailing list.
