    About Us

The National Fitness Foundation (NFF) proudly leads national programs and initiatives to prepare children for a lifetime of health and fitness. The NFF was congressionally chartered as a private nonprofit on December 22, 2010, when President Obama signed the "National Foundation on Fitness, Sports, and Nutrition Establishment Act". The NFF serves as the official nonprofit for the President's Council on Sports, Fitness, & Nutrition, supporting the Council's mandate to "promote healthy eating and physical activity for all people, regardless of background or ability".
