Peoria Diamond Club

About Us

Our mission is to raise funds for local youth charities and organizations through extensive volunteer efforts. The Peoria Diamond Club and its members are dedicated to supporting the many wonderful community programs that educate and enrich our children's lives while enhancing their futures.

The Peoria Diamond Club was established in 1993 in response to the desires of the San Diego Padres, Seattle Mariners, and City of Peoria to partner with a nonprofit organization in the operation of Spring Training. In exchange for providing the necessary workforce, the PDC shares in revenues generated through a variety of functions. These revenues are then redistributed to local community youth organizations through a grant program.

When the Peoria Sports Complex opened in 1994, the PDC consisted of about 90 volunteers, and at the conclusion of the inaugural season awarded $7000 in grants to two organizations. Today the PDC boasts nearly 500 volunteer members, and has donated over $1,300,000, impacting thousands of children throughout western Maricopa County.
