VISAH Togo

“Volontaires Internationaux au Service des Actions Humanitaires (VISAH) – Togo” is the first branch of the inter-regional organization "VISAH." It is a non-governmental organization, founded in September 2009 by a group of young Togolese graduates (among which high school teachers, doctors and managers) who were, and are, concerned of the protection and development of the people of Togo. The organization has a multidisciplinary and voluntarily working team of active members and sympathizers in Togo, and representatives in France, Germany, the Netherlands and the United States. Together they support humanitarian projects with concrete actions, where the welfare of children is a primary concern. Besides that, we want to contribute to the socio-economic development of women en children by helping them with (paying for) their education or training, educating them about their rights and promoting womens literacy skills. We have an office in Lomé, Togo's capital, but work as well in the villages around Lomé.
