    About Us

Nature's Edge Wildlife and Reptile Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to the rehabilitation of wildlife and the rescue of reptiles. With both state and federal permits, we specialize in caring for native reptiles, amphibians, birds of prey, fawns, and predators such as coyotes, foxes, and bobcats. In addition, we provide a safe haven for unwanted pet reptiles and amphibians through our exotic reptile rescue. Every animal in our care receives thorough veterinary treatment, behavioral conditioning, and necessary care. Once fully rehabilitated and deemed suitable, they are made available for adoption to qualified individuals who can demonstrate a deep understanding of species-specific needs, including proper housing and nutrition. Our mission also includes educating the public across the Dallas-Fort Worth area. We offer programs focused on wildlife conservation, species behavior, habitat preservation, and how to coexist peacefully with local wildlife. Nature's Edge operates solely on public donations, as we receive no state or federal funding. All contributions are tax-deductible and help us continue our vital work.
