  • About Us

NKnet's mission is to contribute to the advancement of the human race through the realization of human rights and democracy in North Korea.

Started in 1999, NKnet holds seminars, photo exhibitions, and a near-annual International Conference on North Korean Human Rights. We also publish a monthly magazine, NK Vision, and have started other organizations such as the Daily NK and Radio Free Chosun. In November 2011 we held our first North Korean Human Rights International Film Festival.

Our biggest ongoing need is volunteers to translate Korean articles from our monthly magazine (see www.nkvision.com) into English.
