The Women's Center
The Cambridge Women's Center's is a multi-cultural community center that empowers women through organizing, peer support, education and advocacy. Founded in 1971, the Center provides a wide range of resources and services to women throughout the Greater Boston area, completely free of charge.
The Center hosts a crisis helpline and drop-in program 55 hours a week for women in need, and offers support groups, discussions, creative arts groups, skill-building workshops, resource information, and other enriching activities for all who identify as women. We offer computer & Internet access and training in our two Computer Labs; a lending library; a kitchen with free food; and a Children's Room with toys, games, arts supplies and multicultural books.
