Tanit XR

Tanit XR is dedicated to preserving Tunisia’s cultural heritage through immersive technology. Our mission is to create a living digital archive of archaeological sites and artifacts, ensuring that history is protected and accessible to future generations around the world.

We are a volunteer-driven nonprofit initiative combining archaeology, art, and XR technology. Our team scans, archives, and shares 3D models of Tunisia’s endangered heritage, from mosaics and statues to ancient ruins. Volunteers contribute to 3D model optimization, research, and creative storytelling, helping us bring these treasures into virtual and augmented reality for museums, schools, and the public.

We value collaboration, creativity, and accessibility — making cultural heritage preservation something anyone with skills and passion can be part of.
