  • Mission

    The mission of Global Business Incubation, Inc. (“GBI”) is to promote the development and growth of urban enterprises through business incubation and cooperative strategies. GBI serves as a facilitator of diverse projects. These include teaching factories, business incubators, neighborhood cooperatives, job training programs, youth training and entrepreneurial programs, and technology innovation. Collectively, these provide a synergistic approach to reviving the urban small business community.

    GBI is a CA non-profit corporation established in 1991 in partnership with Loyola Marymount University’s College of Business Administration. GBI is a Strategic Thinkubator (Think and do Tank) Organization and IC2 Global Fellow at the University of Texas at Austin

    GBI, as a nonprofit, is dedicated to promoting the development and growth of urban enterprises through business incubation and cooperative strategies. GBI is currently focused on developing a manufacturing consortium and technical institute that will provide resources, training and employment to incubate 10 collective clusters of passionate Entrepreneurs and Small Business Owners with a focus on veterans and youth.

    GBI has established partnerships with universities and a host of government organizations, nonprofits and Veteran-led companies.
