Boys Hope Girls Hope of Northeastern Ohio
The mission of Boys Hope Girls Hope is to help bright and motivated children-in-need meet their full potential and become men and women for others by providing value-centered, family-like homes, opportunities and education through college.
Through its residential and outreach programs, Boys Hope Girls Hope Northeastern Ohio makes a long-term commitment to fundamentally change a child's environment from one that is troubled and potentially destructive to one filled with opportunity and hope.
The residential program at Boys Hope Girls Hope Northeastern Ohio provides a nurturing home environment for promising middle and high school students with extraordinary socioeconomic need. Many of the scholars who enter our residential program have suffered the effects of economic poverty, severe family stress, and neighborhood violence. By participating in our residential program, our young scholars can concentrate on school, learn to live in a loving community, pursue higher education, and ultimately meet their full potential.
Boys Hope Girls Hope Northeastern Ohio also has an intensive outreach program called Hope Prep, which provides academic enrichment and mentoring for bright middle-school students from under resourced schools.
Key educational partners include John Carroll University, St. Ignatius High School, Walsh Jesuit High School, Saint Joseph Academy, Gesu School and Urban Community School.
