GIVING GARDENS INC

  • Mission

The Mission of Our Giving Garden is to interrupt hunger, cultivate greenspaces, educate on sustainable and environmentally sound gardening and skills and build community in Mableton and surrounding neighborhoods.

    About Us

The Giving Garden was started in the end of 2016 by a group of friends who wanted to feed their neighborhood on a plot of land owned by the neighboring church. Since then, we have purchased the land, become a registered 501c3 nonprofit farm, and donated almost 9,000 pounds of fresh produce and eggs. In addition, we provide regular classes on various sustainable practices, camps, afterschool programs and host an award winning forest preschool on site. We also offer a little free pantry and little free pet pantry at the entrance to our garden that is open to anyone, at any time. Our goal is to lengthen the walking trail, expand our chicken run and increase our flock to donate more eggs, improve our property to make it a nicer space for the community. This is our Garden... your Garden!
