Our organization's goals are to fundraise for period products via drives in the Richmond community and educate on how to have more sustainable periods to protect our environment as well as help educate on the variety of period products now available to individuals. Education also includes helping young menstruators understand what to expect and when/how to discuss concerns with a physician. Lastly, while Virginia has removed the tampon tax and requires schools and prisons to have menstrual products available, there are still areas we can further advocate for change. In particular, for larger employers and government buildings to be required to have menstrual products in bathrooms for employees, and to restrict harmful substances from being included in the manufacturing of menstrual products.
