  • Mission

REO supports under privileged groups within the communities on health issues, wealth creation and provides capacity building and information through the use of participatory approaches and advocacy.

    About Us

REO is a women and youth centered Nongovernmental Organization founded in 1996 by Omam Esther, Executive Director, and supported by a group of Medical Doctors, Gender Analysts, Social Workers, Nurses, Community Relay Agents and Agronomists who were concerned with the plight of the rural masses, especially those in the hard-to reach areas, also known as minority groups such as widows, single mothers, displaced women and their families, girl children who are drop-outs from schools, orphans and vulnerable children, and HIV/AIDS infected persons. Headquartered in Buea, Fako Division of the South West Region of Cameroon, REO also has field offices in Bamusso (Ndian Division) and two focal points in Limbe and Muyuka (Fako Division). Although REO is operational in only three of the six divisions of the SWR, it currently covers the entire Region in terms of relaying the activities of the EU sub-development Support Program for the Structuring of the Civil Society in Cameroon (PASOC).
